About MoneyPhone

MoneyPhone is a Dutch fintech company that is growing rapidly. MoneyPhone deploys cutting-edge technology to support the digitization of microfinance institutions (MFIs) and SME banks in emerging markets. Our digital loan origination solution enables MFIs and SME banks to grow their loan portfolio at a faster rate. We work with MFI’s to, for example, give Syrian refugees in Jordan access to small loans to set up a business, Rwandan potato farmers to increase their yield, and Zimbabwean children to attend primary school. MoneyPhone is currently available in the Middle East, Africa, Latin America and Asia.

Job Description

We are looking for full stack developers to join our tech team. We have room for junior, medior or senior developers. You will play a vital role in creating new features in both existing and new products. You will collaborate on architecture, technical design and implementation of (web) applications. We believe that we have a special product. Not only for our clients, but also for our developers. We want our developers to explore different aspects of development and enjoy variety and all the energy in our company. Based on your level of experience, your activities and benefits may vary. We all work remotely and contract based.

 

Requirements:

  • Experience in some of the following: React, TypeScript, Nodejs, Phyton, Django, Docker, Kubernetes, GIT, REST API’s.

  • Proficiency in English (native or near-native).

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent workexperience.

  • The experience of working in a fast-paced Fintech company will be valued.

  • The experience working with MS and/or "Impact Finance" will be valued.

Sales Associate LATAM - MoneyPhone BV

Job Description

We are looking for a Sales Associate to grow our business in Latin America. You will play a vital role in generating B2B sales to financial institutions in Latin America. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for prospecting, cold calling, developing interest and closing deals. The role can be based in Mexico. It may require some travel to establish the necessary business relationships and customer acquisition.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, qualify and close new sales opportunities

  • Exceed your respective monthly and quarterly targets

  • Build strong relationships with Microfinance Institutions and SME-Banks

  • Be passionate about conveying and demonstrating the value of MoneyPhone’s solutions to win new sales opportunities

  • Act as the single point of contact for customers and assume responsibility for escalation of issues to appropriate team


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience 

  • 3+ years of proven track record in sales positions preferably selling B2B digital solutions

  • Experience working in a fast-paced (Fin)Tech company is a plus

  • Experience working with MFIs and/or ‘Impact Finance’ is a plus

  • Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills

  • Strong work ethic and able to work with minimal supervision

  • Fluent in English and Spanish (native or near-native)

Job Description
